The Contract Act, 1872 does not provide for stamping of agreement nor does it deem an unstamped agreement invalid or unenforceable. Therefore, agreements can be executed with or without a stamp paper. However, stamp papers are mandatory for the agreements and other legal documents that require registration under the Registration Act, 1908. Also, stamping of documents is recommended because it ensures the legality of the agreement and its enforceability and admissibility in the courts.
The value of stamp paper differs from agreement to agreement; also every state has different rules with respect to the stamp duty. You are advised to take legal guidance regarding the value of stamp paper before using it.

DIY is an automated option to draft your own contracts with the help of given templates. The contract drafted shall be available in your dashboard for downloading or e-Signature that very moment. Whereas, custom contracts are prepared by our expert lawyers based on the information provided by you. The contract drafted by experts shall be available within 72 business hours in your dashboard subject to information provided by you. It can thereafter be downloaded and e-Signed.
Obligation tracker is a systematic process of breaking down contracts with mathematical clarity. It lists down and summarizes all the obligations of the parties to the Contract and help implement risk management strategies with respect to the Contract.
Contract Drafting is the drafting of legal contracts either by an individual himself (Do-It-Yourself) or by our legal experts (Custom Contract). No, e-signature is not included on the purchase of Quick Contracts and you shall be charged separately if you wish to electronically sign the contract.
Yes, you shall be charged separately for each contract.
Do-it-Yourself Contracts are available immediately in the dashboard on the payment of the transaction fees. Custom contracts, however, will be available in your dashboard for download within Seven (7) business days from the fee payment. However, it may take up to 7 (seven) business days to get the physical copy of Do-It-Yourself Contracts along with stamp paper delivered to you.
Yes, for Custom Contract, you can raise a request for correction by writing to us at info@contractbazar.com withing two (2) days from the delivery of the Contract. Our team will get in touch with you within twenty-four (24) business hours.
You can preview the Do-it-Yourself Contract and make the changes in the questionnaire before proceeding for payment, however for custom contracts you shall have to get in touch with us.
No refunds can be initiated for the contract that has been drafted incorrectly due to the wrong information provided by you. For more details please read our Cancellation and Refund Policy
The request for amendments/refunds should be raised by you within two (2) business days of receiving the document in your dashboard. However, the approval for amendment or initiation of refund shall be solely determined by us after taking into consideration several factors.

3. STAMP PAPERS

A Non-judicial stamp paper means the paper which is used in paying the stamp duty to the government. A non-judicial stamp paper is used to execute deeds and contracts.

To execute the document on stamp paper, the parties can print the first few pages, depending upon the number of stamp papers in accordance with the stamp duty to be paid, and execute the same by signing those contracts. The other way to attach the them before the contract that is executed. However, make sure all the parties sign the stamp paper(s) as well after explicitly mentioning it to be a part of that document.

The price of Do-It-Yourselfdocuments includes cost of the stamp paper up to Rs. 100 (Rupees Hundred) as well as courier for delivery of physical document at your doorstep. However, to get stamp paper over and above Rs. 100/- (Rupees Hundred only) for Do-It-Yourself Contract or Custom Contracts on Stamp Paper, you will have to pay for the stamp papers additionally.
We take up to seven business days to provide thestamp papervia courier, however, it may take longer in the event there are circumstances that are beyond our control.
